Why Bloggers Know Everything

June 3rd, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in Hints and Tips, Worthless, guides

IF I was being serious and bloggers really did know everything, then the reason would be;

  • They’re blog is on a topic they have studied, worked on, or enjoyed as a hobby for years.

Since I’m not really being serious, and bloggers really don’t know everything, no matter how intelligent they may seem.  I’ll just come straight out and say, Most bloggers have no legitamite idea what they’re writing about, atleast half of the time.  Now some of you may be thinking that means bloggers just Bullshit their way through entire articles?

This was brought to my attention when I read a comment to an article on digg.  Of course the article was about how to pick up chicks and it was written by someone who spends all of his time on the computer and smoking weed (according to the site’s theme).  You can check out the site here.  So anyways, this comment stated that the author cleary had no idea what he was talking about.  I’m sure most bloggers just spam out articles and forget/don’t choose to proof read their articles.  Sometimes this leads to leaving out key points and important parts of certain posts.

So, in my opinion the commentor was being a little too harsh.  The ability to BS complete articles seems to me like some what of a sign of genius.  Every other blogger on the internet, and myself have written an article simply for the benefits at one point or another.  This often times leaders to failure, but can sometimes bring in traffic for spurr of the moment topics.

Also, the aire of intelligence and self confidence leads people to believe whatever the author says.  When an author tells something matter-of-fact-like he’s doing better for himself than he would be if he were to say something as if he wasn’t sure about it.  Plus, most people browsing the internet are seeking information on the internet, and aren’t likely to call you out if you’re wrong.

When a blogger writes something that he/she doesn’t know anything about, you can probably expect it to be true enough to believe.  Educated guesses and hypotheses are what found scientific theories and eventually end up as solid results.  Don’t expect things that you’re reading on blogs to be untrue either, because many bloggers look into what they’re posting about before typing up the article.

OMg.. I totally just BS’d my way through that entire article.  I’m serious too, I don’t think it came out very well.

You Will Drive Electrics

May 23rd, 2008 | 3 Comments | Posted in Life of Slice?

I heard about a new system that is going to be put into play for electric cars this morning. This system really sounds like what is going to get people to switch to electric cars. First of all, it will be much cheaper than the current situation with gas cars. Second, it is totally environmentally friendly, the electric cars don’t give off any emissions, and the batteries are reusable.

An Electric Car

How it Will Work:

  • The company will be charging much like a cell phone company charges.
  • You will get your electric car for free, and then pay maybe 200-300 dollars monthly for a certain amount of mileage. (You will be charged for mileage, instead of minutes).
  • Recharging your batteries will be free, you will drive into an electric-station (instead of a gas station). You will drive inside of something much like a mechanical car wash. Then, your old battery will automatically drop out, and a new one will be inserted.
  • You can then continue driving, without having to pay for anything other than membership. The batteries are rechargeable, so they are reused and put into the next car once it is ready.

From what I’ve heard, the first stations will be set up in Lost Angeles, and San Francisco by the year 2010. The company that is doing this is called something like Build a Better Planet, but I’m not exactly sure. The company was created by an activist that obviously wants people to start using electric cars. He makes the capital, while saving the environment, and saving the US economy.

Why it’s Good for the Economy:

Right now, the US is forced to buy oil from other countries, and we’re in a somewhat economic depression. We are very dependent on the oil supply, so we continue to spend oodles (alot) of money on it. As we funnel our money into the other countries that produce the oil, we become more and more poor. Apparently we don’t have anything of equal value to trade here.

So, once people switch over almost-completely to electric cars, the demand for gas will go down, and so will the prices. Our country will stop spending all it’s money on gas, and boosting other countries economies. It will cost a lot less to drive around, and eventually the gas car will be antique.

I’ll be looking into this project more, and trying to find out ways to donate, because I’d really like to see this get done. Anyone else?!
